1- Dr. Paul Lefrere:

Dr. Paul is a global thought-leader in e-learning and e-skills, and related areas including: knowledge media; cognitive augmentation; open innovation; and open educational resources. He is a visiting professor of e-learning and the holder of honorary appointments internationally, as well as a board-level adviser to leading private-sector and public-sector organizations, including universities in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Previously Microsoft's Executive Director for eLearning, and currently leading consortia in the development of the next generation of knowledge services and associated career opportunities for today’s students and workers, he has a long history of anticipating emerging needs and then co-developing ways to respond to those needs. As an example: he co-founded the UK eLearning Centre, CETIS (funded by the UK’s JISC to represent the interests of all UK universities in all areas of eLearning including quality, standards and specifications and learning networks). One of his current responsibilities is leading the scientific research and take-up of the multi-industry/multi-university project TELL ME, which is cross-fertilizing multiple fields. Examples include e-learning research and practice in higher education; quality practices from manufacturing industry (eg from the Factories of the Future program); creating more and better jobs to replace jobs that smart machines will take; research into organizational agility, change management and capacity development; Human Resource Development; advances in Knowledge Management, Knowledge Media and Internet of Things.

Florian Brand is the Training Quality Manager EMEA for Red Hat and has more than 15 years of international experience as an instructor, courseware author and education manager.

He was first Red Hat Certified Architect worldwide.

His teaching experience features Linux Administration, Performance Tuning, Security, Storage and Network topics. He has delivered training in more than 40 countries all over the globe.

Before joining Red Hat, Florian Brand studied Physics at the University of Würzburg.

3- Ms. Heba Gaber:

Heba is currently the research and innovation officer at the European Union Delegation to Egypt. She contributes to the conception, elaboration and implementation of relevant EU-Egypt research and innovation cooperation agreements, strategies, and programmes. She has more than 10 years of international operational and academic experience across multiple sectors.

The first part of Heba’s career was in Chemonics, a leading consulting firm that provides engineering and environmental management services. Heba led several consulting contracts spanning multiple sectors.  At the University of Waterloo in Canada, Heba worked as a research associate for four years. During her Doctoral studies, Heba has worked with world-renowned experts on research topics that include: strategic orientation of organizations, international entrepreneurship, innovation management and technology transfer. In particular, she focused on the role of a firm’s strategic orientation in the creation of innovation capabilities at SMEs. As a senior consultant, Heba joined Innovety (2010-2012) a non-traditional consulting firm, where she provided consulting services in the areas of innovation management and entrepreneurship.

Heba holds a Chemical Engineering Degree from Cairo University (1999), a Masters in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo in Canada (2006), and a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo with a concentration in Management of Technology and International Entrepreneurship (2013).

4- Mr. Ramez Quneibi:

Mr. Ramez Quneibi holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology with emphasis in Software Engineering from the University of Philadelphia – Jordan, and has been certified as Websites Auditors and Expert in E-marketing.
Twelve years of progressive experience and has an impressive track record in IT consulting, IT project management, Tender & Bid Management, Software Engineering and Software Deployment with reputable organizations, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
Mr. Quneibi has more than 10 years of experience in all aspects of websites development and design, mainly in: Web Development and Design using different platforms, Learning Management Systems, Wiki systems, Social Media Networks, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. He also has a strong experience in open source technologies and utilization of OSS to help the business online.

5- Dr. Nidal Qanadilo:

 

 

 

 

Nidal is immersed in helping aspiring millennials realize/channel their potential through Leadership & Entrepreneurship at Oasis 500 (leading seed investment company and accelerator in MENA), South Point, and beyond.

His experience over the last 26 years (Canada & MENA) spans: Strategic Management, Enterprise and HR Capacity Building, ICT Investment Policy & Strategy, Organizational Management, Operations Management, Sales Management, and Programme Portfolio Management (driving growth of targeted industries).

Nidal is a recognized expert in Entrepreneurship Ecosystems, Influence-based Leadership, Multi-layered Capacity Building programmes, Customer Experience Management (in context of new social paradigm driven by online social networks), Business Process Outsourcing, 'Social' Contact Centre Industry, 'Service Delivery' & Sales Models Transformation, and Employee Engagement.  He is deeply engaged in the Digital Content industry.

Nidal is an accomplished Executive Coach with on-going C-level engagements that range from developing private/public sector IT strategies to leadership development programmes.

He held key executive positions at private & progressive public sector organizations, e.g. Director of ICT Investments, Ministry of ICT, Jordan (negotiated and forged alliances with global tech companies, successfully led the creation of the Offshore Contact Centre industry, among other things).

Nidal also has a flare for entrepreneurship: he established successful business ventures in Canada and MENA. This includes a leading regional digital content company, which he co-founded three years ago, as well as a MENA/US company that focuses on driving and supporting MENA startups' growth.

He serves on the advisory boards of leading regional and international companies.

Nidal received his MBA from Lancaster University, UK.  He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an alumnus of Schulich Schools of Business, York University, Canada.

6- David West:

 

 

 

 

 David West joined DANTE in 2001 and has lead and managed regional research and education networking projects outside Europe.  He has run the EUMEDCONNECT project providing regional networking for North Africa and Middle East since its outset in 2004.  He has also developed regional networks across South and South East Asia (TEIN2 and TEIN3, 2004 – 2012), and Central Asia (CAREN since 2009). He also contributes to DANTE’s core-business of building and operating the pan-European Network, GEANT and its global relationships.  
 
Previously David was a senior manager at British Telecom for 15 years in a number of international roles to develop and manage new international network services and business development projects for BT’s global division and its overseas partners.  He is educated to postgraduate level.
 

7- Mohamed ElMaraghy Nassar:

Mohammad ElMaraghy Nassar is passionate and hardworking IT expert and an authorized RedHat and VMTraining Instructor; carrying over 10 years of experience in consultancy and training in Red Hat Linux official courses. During his studies in El-Mansoura University in Egypt, back in 2002, he worked, part-time, as a Professional Systems Engineer with an authorized IBM partner. After graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Computers and Systems Engineering in 2007, he started his career as an Instructor and a Technical Consultant in one of the well-known IT companies in Egypt. He had the responsibility of implementing professional services for customers and providing them with technical consultancy and support. Due to his advanced abilities to solve problems and his highly committed personality, he was often, receiving requests from customers to join in their projects.

Mohamed is a Red Hat Certified Architect Level IV and holds up to 20 recognized certifications in Red Hat, Linux and VMware. He, faithfully, believes in open source and works toward promoting it by sharing his knowledge, with the aim to play an important role in the Arab countries to switch to Linux and open source projects. He is a Fedora Ambassador, and has held several presentations about Linux and Open Source Technologies to Engineering students in various countries, as well a Red Hat courses to hundreds of trainees across the region.

8- Dr. Rainer Herpers:

Professor at BRSU University, Germany

Dr. Herpers is a Professor in the Dep. of Computer Science at BRSU. Since 2001 he holds Adjunct Faculty positions at the Faculty of Graduate Studies at York University and since 2008 at the Faculty of Computer Science at University of New Brunswick. Since June 2011 he chairs the newly founded Graduate Institute and for many years he serves as international coordinator in his department.  He served as grant-holder in two Tempus III and two EU/Canada projects funded by the European Commission. He is conducting several research projects in the areas of computer vision and immersive visualization. He applies and teaches open source software solutions since many years. He has published over 60 articles in international conferences and journals.

9- Dr. Enrique Arias Antúnez:

Enrique Arias received a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Technical University of Valencia (UPV) in 2003, after getting a Ms.C. in Computer Science at the same university. Since 1999 he is a lecturer at the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Informática of Albacete (UCLM). He is currently an associate professor in the Computing Systems Department, where he teaches subjects related to operating systems and parallel and distributed computing. During the last years, he has focused his research on the application of parallel and distributed computing techniques to several fields of science and engineering such as climate change and bioinformatics., as well as in Numerical Computing. All this research has been supported by several national and European projects, as well as by more than 100 research publications and being supervisor of 4 PhDs.

10- Dr. Mohamamd Masoud:

 

 

 

 

Dr. Mohamamd Masoud is an Assistant Professor in Computer and Communication Engineering Department in Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. He received his BSc. degree in Computer Engineering from Mu’tah University, Karak, Jordan in 2006. He received his MSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NYIT, Amman, Jordan. He received his PhD. in Communication Engineering and Information Systems from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2012. He is a reviewer in many computer and communication journals. His research interests include computer network measurements, machine learning algorithms and applications, Software Defined Networking (SDN), embedded systems and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS).

11- Dr. Rula Khalid Al-Azawi:

 

 

 

 

PhD in De-Montfort university- UK , Msc in software engineering and Bsc in computer science from Baghdad-Iraq

Award leader in computing department - Gulf college- Muscat

Award leader for computing department since 2008 and a senior lecturer since 2005, she's in second year of PhD in De-Montfort university- UK. Her PhD research area focuses on game development methodology and agent-oriented software engineering methodology.

12- Dr. Samer Jaloudi:

Samer Jaloudi received the Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from An-Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine in 1998; the Master’s degree in Design of Analog and Digital Integrated Systems from the INP de Grenoble, France in 2005; and the Ph.D. degree from the Electrical Engineering Department, Bolton University, UK, in 2013.
He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department ICT, QOU, Nablus, Palestine. He was part-time lecturer at the department of Telecommunication Engineering, Arab American University, Jenin, and was a planning Engineer at Palestine Telecoms, for five years. His current research interests include telecommunication protocols of smart systems, renewable energy integration, and development of educational kits.

13- Dr. Tahar Mehenni:

 

 

 

 

Tahar Mehenni received his PhD in Computer Science at the University A. Mira of Bejaia. He is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Computer Science Department, University M. Boudiaf of M'sila. He has been working in the area of data mining since 2007. His research work focuses on multi-database mining and multi-relational data mining. His current research interests include software engineering, especially in quality and evaluation of software team development. He also works for a long time in metaheuristics, bioinformatics and optimization problems. He is author of a great deal of research studies published at national and international journals, as well as conference proceedings.

14- Dr. Yassine Rhazali:

 

 

 

 

Yassine Rhazali received his Master Degree in Software Quality from the Ibn Tofail University, Faculty of Sciences Kenitra, Morocco, in 2012. He later prepares his PhD degree in the Ibn Tofail University, Faculty of Sciences Kenitra, Morocco, since 2012. Currently, he is teaching Software Engineering at the same University and at the Moroccan office of professional training and employment promotion (OFPPT). He is a member of MISC Laboratory. His research interest focuses on conceptual modeling, software process, and modernization of legacy systems. He has many contributions in several journals, magazines, and international conferences. 15- Dr. Yousef Farhaoui:

 

 

 

 

Yousef Farhaoui received his PhD degree in computer security from the University Ibn Zohr Agadir in 2012. His research interest includes computer security.  He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of sciences and Technic moulay Ismail University.
